Generation of Purpose is a Florida based non-profit organization located in Lauderhill Florida, that partners with at-risk youth and their families to help them discover what they are capable of achieving. We inspire positive development through a variety of child welfare, counseling, juvenile justice and prevention services to help overcome challenges such as abuse, substance use and homelessness. Since 2016, GOP has worked with more than 400 youth and families, providing community-based support to empower all youth to face life’s challenges with confidence, competence and dignity.

Founder/CEO of the GOP
Monique Henry
Monique Henry is the Founder/CEO of the GOP, established since 2016 with a vision to heavily involving the next generation for Community Impact which is achieved through the efforts of a diverse team of high-performing leaders, staff, and volunteers alike. She leverages the power of relationships and networks, and works across private, public, and corporate sectors to improve conditions in various communities across Florida. Mrs. Henry is dedicated to shared measurable goals for the common good – creating, resourcing, educating, and leveraging strategies for community growth. She values network and strives to advance the next Generation in purpose and, on purpose to expand its community presence, relationships, and resources.
Co-Founder/Vice President of GOP
Kyle Henry
Kyle Henry is the Co-Founder/Vice President of GOP is determined and passionate to help in the growth of the next generation all while Establishing and maintaining relationships with, academic institutions, local colleges and universities), and other professional associations in an effort to promote awareness of the constant challenges the youth face. Mr. Henry in an important pillar in the community with a unique call of God on his life. Built to mentor young men and place them in a right standing position as future Men that carry a vision for not only their families but their communities. His vision to serve as liaison to different municipalities in helps to keep a harmonious relationship between the youth and their communities.
Director of Outreach of GOP
Jessica McDermott
Jessica McDermott The Director of Outreach of GOP and Engagement leads the planning and execution of engagement and outreach actions and activities with community and faith-based member organizations, allies, and partner nonprofits. Mrs. McDermott works closely with the Chief Executive Officer to develop a plan to expand and more effectively engage our local communities in South Florida and aboard creating advocacy campaigns and program offerings.
