Hello my name is Markiel Turner, I am a football player that wants to pursue my dream to play in the NFL and to build a stronger relationship with god. I have been playing football for 5 years, I’ve played for my high school and have received plenty of scholarships to play at the next level which is college football; in which I chose Trinity University as my school which is christian based because it suits me as a person that the community believes in Christ. This is my thought of being a college freshman at this school, I know that it’ll take a lot of commitment. I will have to work hard on and off the field for example: in the classrooms and build a strong connection with the almighty. As a kid growing up I knew I had a purpose of being very successful in life even though other people might think different because of the community I was raised in. That environment altered others’ image of me and therefore would be judged to be “growing up to be a gang banger, locked up or even dead.” I want to show people in my vicinity that It’ll never has to be that route.
